ShapeForge helps users track meals, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, steps, workouts, body weight, and body composition. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

1. Information We Process

ShapeForge may process the following information when you choose to provide it:

• Food photos, nutrition labels, receipts, and meal descriptions.
• Food names, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, ingredients, and diary entries.
• Workout screenshots and workout information.
• Weight, body fat percentage, lean body mass, and other body metrics.
• Step count and selected Apple Health data, if you grant Health access.
• Messages, corrections, or prompts you send to the AI assistant.
• Your name and email address, if you choose to share them through Sign in with Apple.

2. Apple Health

ShapeForge may request permission to read Apple Health data such as steps, weight, and body metrics. Health access is optional. You can change or revoke Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.

ShapeForge does not sell Apple Health data and does not use Apple Health data for advertising or tracking.

3. AI Processing

Some features use AI to estimate nutrition, analyze labels, receipts, food photos, workout screenshots, or scale screenshots. When you use these features, selected images, text, and related context may be sent to Google’s Gemini API to process your request and return a result.

Google’s use of this data is governed by the applicable Google API Terms of Service. ShapeForge uses a paid API tier intended for request processing and response generation.

You should not upload information you do not want processed by an external AI service.

4. Storage and Sync

ShapeForge stores diary data, saved foods, meals, body metrics, and preferences on your device using local app storage.
